Troop Positions

This is where you can find helpful information on the different leadership positions in our Troop.

Patrol Leaders

The Patrol Leader's job is to guide and inform your patrol under the guidance of your Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. You also assist in planning scouting events by representing your patrol in the patrol leaders council.

Assistant Patrol Leaders

The Assistant Patrol Leader's job is to assist the patrol leader and take over their job when they are unavailable. This is a great position for somebody who wants to eventually become a patrol leader because they learn how to be a good patrol leader from being the patrol leader's assistant.

Webmaster

Troop webmasters are responsible for maintaining the troop’s website. They make sure that information posted on the website is correct and up to date and that the privacy of youth and adult troop members is protected.

Troop Guide

The troop guide's job is to guide the new scouts in the troop to help them rank up and how to do basic scouting skills and sets a good example for them. You will want to guide them to the link below.

Quarter Masters

Senior Quarter Master

The Quarter Master's job is to teach the Assistant Quarter Master how to take care and sort the trailer and shed. You also issue equipment to people and make sure it is returned in good order and take care of broken equipment.

Assistant Quarter Master

The Assistant Quarter Master's job is to listen to the Senior Quarter Master and learn how to take over his job when his term ends. You then will be tasked with the job of training the next quartermaster.

Scribe

The Scribe's job is to take record for the troop such as taking notes at patrol leader conferences and taking attendance for the troop.

Chaplain Aid

The Chaplain Aide's job is to say grace before every meal and encourage scouts to get their faith's religious emblems.

Order of the Arrow Representative

The Order of the Arrow Representative's job is to attend the Order of the Arrow's meetings and represent our troop in the Order of the Arrow.

Den Chief

The Den Cheif's job is to attend the Cub Scouts meetings, assist them in their scouting activities, and encourage them to join Boy Scouts.

Den Chief Resources:

Scoutmaster

The Scoutmaster is the adult responsible for working directly with the Scouts to help them create the program for the troop. The Scoutmaster trains boy leaders to run the troop by providing direction, coaching, and support.

Assistant Scoutmaster

An Assistant Scoutmaster is an adult leader over the age of 18 who helps the Scoutmaster deliver the promise of Scouting. Each assistant Scoutmaster is assigned specific program duties.

Senior Patrol Leader

A Senior Patrol Leader's job is to run all Troop Meetings, events, activities, and the Patrol Leader Council. He reports to the Scoutmaster and communicates with the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader to keep the troop running correctly. All youth positions report to him, directly or indirectly. He keeps the patrols on task.

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

An Assistant Senior Patrol Leader's job is to helps the Senior Patrol Leader lead meetings and activities, runs the troop when the Senior Patrol Leader is not present. He helps train and supervise the troop Scribe, Quartermaster, Instructor, Librarian, Historian, Webmaster, and Chaplain Aide. Serves as a member of the patrol leaders' council.
